What got you into IT = Learning to program in BASIC on an Apple II that my dad brought home when I was a kid.

What music do you like = Iron and Wine, Fleet Foxes

Your favorite food = Fritos

Favorite drink = Tab and Mountain Due

Your favorite IT tools = Ruby on Rails, Unity3D, Eclipse

Your favorite pentest tools = I’ve used metasploit once or twice — just for fun, though

Do you think been able to write code is important to been a pentester and why? = Probably. I think READING code is pretty important, at least. It’s good to be able to understand the nature of an exploit at the source code level. It helps you identify source code that might be vulnerable to similar exploits.

What languages do you code in? = Java, Ruby, Haskell, Java Script. Sometimes Perl

what OS do you use for day to day work/fun = OSX

What OS do you use for pentesting = I don’t really do any these days.

What do you prefer for virtual lab VM or Virtualbox = I use Virtual Box
